The Committee is making an effort

Carlisle to deliver an address.
Thus far these organizations have
expressed a wiliingness to parade:
Junior Mechanics, Foresters of Amer-
ica, Friendship Fire Company, Minis-
terial Association, School Board and
School children and Borough Coun-
cil, with a number that have not as
vet been heard from.
The next meeting of the Committee
will be held on Thursday evening at
eight o'clock at the office of Dr. W.
R. Heilig when all the members of
the Sons of Veterans are requested
to be present.

ERECTING CONCRETE ELEVATOR

Brandt & Stehman Will Soon Have a
Storage Capacity of 45,000 Bushels
Messrs, Brandt & Stehman, our lo-
cal millers, undoubtedly have one of
the best and most modern equipped
mills in this section, but have been
more or less crowded for storage on
account of their extensive business.
They decided to obviate the obstacle
by erecting a spacious grain elevator
and the work on same is now under
way.
A big concrete elevator
course of erection. When completed
it will be fifty feet high and will
have a storage capacity of 25,000
bushels. The interior will include
nine bins. With this new elevator
and their present elevators they will
have a combined storage capacity of
45,000 bushels,
The new elevator is being erected
on the east side of the mill and a
large straw and hay shed will be
erected in addition to the above.
Mr. J. Y. Kline of Florin has the
contracted for this work.
