Albert Fike is busy re-painting

Route No. 1 from Columbia, has
been very heavy for the month of
October owing to the immense de-
livery of political matter during the
late campaign. Following is the
report of carrier Wm. Fogie of our
town: 1,595 letters, 5 registered
letters, 1,058 postal cards, 3,055
papers, 916 circulars and 81 pack-
ages, total 6,710 pieces. Collected
oa route: 686 letters, 475 postcards
4 papers, 4o circulars and 6 pack-
ages, total 412 pieces. 18 money
orders were given out. Value of
stamps on mail handled during the |
month, $19.54. Sale of stamps and
papers amounted to $20.00.

The Anti-Cigarette Law
The Bulletin has been requested
by the Mount Joy Ministerial As-
sociation to publish the law of the
State in reference to the sale of cig-
arettes, The act of 1003 is as fol-
lows;
WHEREAS, The smoking of cigarettes is
injurious to the health of the young there-
fore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted, &ec., That if
any person or persons shall sell cigarettes
or cigarette paper to any person or persens,
under the age of twenty-one years, he or
she so offending shall be guilty of a misde-
meanor, and upon comviction thereof shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not more thau
three hundred dollars, nor less than one
handred dollars.
