Resolutions,
‘Whereas :- The union meetings under
the leadership of Evangclists Robert E.
* Johnson, and J. R. Heminger, have accom-
plished a wonderful work of gracein Mount
Joy, Pa., the greatest in the history of the
town, in this work they have been wonder-
fully blessed, during this period 228 souls
have been born into the Kingdom of God.
The church membership has been lifted to a
higher plane of Christian experience and the
unity of church developed to a higher degree-
than before.
Therefore be it resolved by a standing
vote of this congregation numbering about
fifteen hundred hereby do express our ap-
preciation of their service and want to com-
mend them to the confidence of any com-
munity that may secure their service, they
are men sound of doctrine and have relied
upon the Bible, the Holy Spirit and the
power of prayer and personal work as the
instruments under GOD in bringing about
the marvelous results as seen in our midst.
And do hereby authorize the general
committee composed of officials’ laymen
representing all of the six churches to sign
this vote of thanks of the Congregations
and the Citizens of the town and commun-
ity.

Chamberlain's Cough Remedy.
No one who is aequainted with its good
qualities can besurprised at the great popu-
* larity of Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy, I
hot only cures colds and grip effectually
and permanently, but prevents these dis-
eases from resulting in pneumonia. It is
alsoa certain cure for croup. Whooping
cough is not dangerous when this remedy
is given. It contains no opium or other
harmful substance and may be given as con-
fidently toa baby as to an adult. It is
also pleasant to take. When all of these
facts’are taken into consideration it is not
surprising that people in foreign lands, as
well as at home, esteem’ this remedy highly
and very few are willing to take any other
after havingonce used it. For sale by J.
