HANNA George M. Hanna, 75, of Mount Joy RDI, died last week at the Lancaster General Hospital. He had been under the care of a physician. He was born in Tayloria, Lancaster County, the son of the late J.T. and Margaret Mostellar Hanna. He was the husband of the late L. Benerda Hukey Hanna. Mr. Hanna was a retired farm worker. He was a member of the Calvary Monument Bible Church, Paradise RDI. He is survived by four children: A. Elizabeth, wife of William A. Mackey; William E. Hanna; and Thelma M., wife of Charley W. Snyder, all of Lancaster; and George C. Hanna, Strasburg RDI1; 15 grand- children, five great-grand- children; and three bro- thers, James M., S. John and David B., all of Lancaster. SARAH Z. ZIMMERMAN Sarah Z. Zimmerman, 73, of 141 Cherry St., Mount Joy, died last week at the home of her sister, Fannie Zeager, 153 New Haven St. She was born in Mount Joy, the daughter of the late Nathan and Mary Baker Zink. She was the widow of William Zimmerman. Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and Circle One of the church. She also belonged to Mount Joy Senior Citizens Club and the Senior Center. She lived in Mount Joy all her life. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Hartman, Salunga; a son, Irvin Schroll, Chey- enne, Wyo.; ten grandchild- ren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Nathan Zink, Taunton, Mass.; and her sister, Fannie. Mount Joy ladies aux. elects officers The Ladies Auxiliary of Mount Joy Fire Co. #1 elected the following new officers at its December meeting: Mary Shank, president; Cathy Hoffmaster, vice president; Julie Hamilton, secretary; Debra Mueller, assistant secretary; Joni \ Madara, treasurer; and Michelle Arndt, chaplin. It was announced that china plates of the new Mount Joy fire hall are available through the auxil- iary. For more information, contact Edith Etsell at 653-5682.
