Bids for the Grandview
boiler replacement will be
opened at the December 4
board meeting.
ZEMCO, the company
doing work on the high
school track, has placed
some rough patching to the
track surface trouble spots.
They plan to return and
complete this patching, and
then apply the color surface
to the repaired areas.
Two sample patches have
been installed at the high
school tennis court surfaces
for testing over the winter.
The next board meeting,
on December 4, will be a
reorganization meeting. It
will be the only meeting for
the month.
Mr. Robert Kline was
re-appointed to both the
district Authority and as a
district representative on
the 1.U. 13 Joint Authority.
It was noted that enroll-
ment for the past month fell
below the 2,500 mark for the
first time remembered by
superintendent Ragnar
Hallgren. Enrollment stands
at 2,493.
In personnel matters, Mr.
Charles leader was ap-
pointed to serve as a
replacement for Mrs. Louise
Peters as the junior high
school guidance counselor,
during her sabbatical leave
Donegal b-ball (cont.)
Sherry Derr led the
scoring attack with 32 points
while Beth Keffer added 28.
The JV team lost by a
16-27 score.
The Indian Maids
traveled to Manheim Cen-
tral Tuesday evening. They
will take on Ephrata, away,
on Friday and Eastern, at
home, on Saturday.
The boys’ basketball team
traveled to Lancaster Men-
nonite last Friday, returning
the 62-50 victors.
The JV team also won by
a 32-12 score.
The team was defeated by
Hempfield, at home, Satur-
day. The score was close at
69-60.
The JV team was also
defeated, 34-68.
The Indians met Octoraro
for the second semester of
this term. Mr. Leader is
currently a junior high
science teacher.

and will travel to Cedar
Crest on Friday.
