Patricia Ann Houseal and
Joseph Samuel Hollister III
took place Saturday, No. 22,
at 2 pm at the Assumption of
the Blessed Virgin Mary
Church, Mount Joy, with
the Rev. Victor Maksimo-
wicz officiating.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Houseal, 624 West Main
St., Mount Joy. She is a
graduate of Donegal High
School and is employed by
Hamilton Bank, East Peters-
burg.
The bridegroom is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Hollister, Mount Joy RD3.
He graduated from Lan-
caster Catholic High School
and is employed by Hahn
Contracting.
Miss Cheri Ney, Mount
Joy, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Robbin
Roberts, Marietta, and
Mary Hollister, sister of the
bridegroom, Mount Joy.
Serving as best man was
Samuel Hollister, brother of
the groom, Mount Joy.

WILLIAM H. DOMMEL
William H. Dommel, 74, a
former Mount Joy borough
councilman and county
Democratic Party district
leader, died at the Lancaster
General Hospital last Fri-
day.
Dommel, a retired state
auditor and World War II
veteran, lived at 464
Donegal Springs Road,
Mount Joy. He retired from
his state job in 1973.
He was born in Lancaster,
the son of the late William
and Lizzie Clayman Dom-
mel.
- He was a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church,
Mount Joy, the Mount Joy
Fire Company No. 1 and the
Florin Fire Company.
He also belonged to the
Elizabethtown Moose Lodge
No. 596 and the Mount Joy
American Legion Post 18S.
Surviving are his wife,
Florence Ketnor Dommel; a
son, William C., Mount Joy;
a daughter, Wilma J., at
home; a grandson, William
J.; three sisters, Sarah
Aldinger, York; Florence
Bailey, Mount Joy; and
Elizabeth McClelland, Co-
lumbia.
HELEN N. LAWRENCE
Helen N. Lawrence, 77, of
1105S Campbell St., Wil-
liamsport, died last week at
the Jersey Shore Hospital.
Her late husband, Dr.
Henry Lawrence, practiced
medicine in Marietta. Mrs.
Lawrence moved to Wil-
liamsport in 1958.
She was a member of the
Marietta United Methodist
Church and most recently
attended Faith United
Methodist Church, Mon-
toursville.
in Philadelphia, the daugh-
ter of the late John and
Mary Newberry.
She is survived by two
daughters: Helen Nicklas,
Lock Haven RD1; and Carol
Nevill, Geneva, N.Y.; six
grandchildren; and a sister,
Edna Staley, New Martins-
ville, W.Va.
HAROLD E. McCORKEL
Harold Eugene McCorkel,
57, of Jane Avenue, Mount
Joy RD1, died last Saturday
at the St. Joseph Hospital
after an illness of several
months.
McCorkel worked as a
sales broker for J.F. Feeser
Foods, Harrisburg, and was
in the food distributing
business for 33 years.
He was born in Elizabeth-
town, the son of the late
Solomon B. and Elizabeth
Bowman McCorkel. He was
the husband of Beatrice
Nagle McCorkel.
He was a member, elder,
trustee and secretary in the
Columbia Congregation of
Jehovah’s Winesses.
Surviving in addition to
his widow are three sons:
Gary L., Mount Joy, Mark
A. and Craig E., both at
home, one grandson; and
two brothers, Marlin F.,
Columbia, and Richard G.,
Miami, Fla.
MRS. ABBIE R. RESSEL
Mrs. Abbie R. Ressel, 80,
of 550 Park Ave., Lancaster,
died last week at the
General Hospital after a
brief illness.
She was born in Marietta,
the daughter of the late
Daniel and Anna -Blotten-
berger, and resided in
Lancaster all of her life. She
was the widow of Dewey H.
Ressel.
Surviving are a son, John
H. Christy, Lancaster; a
brother, Charles G. Blotten-
berger, Columbia; one
grandson; one nephew; and
one niece.

Pfaunmiller, uncle of the
bridegroom, officiating.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond
M. Valle, 219 Mount Joy
St., Mount Joy. She gradu-
ated from Donegal High
School and the Mount Joy
Vo-Tech School and is
employed by Manheim Na-
tional Bank.
The bridegroom is the son
of Charles Pfaunmiller Jr.,
Middletown, and the grand-
son of Mrs. Anna D.
Pfaunmiller, Elizabethtown
RD3. He graduated from
Elizabethtown Area High
School and is employed by
Peter Paul Cadbury, Inc.,
Mount Joy.
Miss Lori Gebhart, Mount
Joy, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Miss
