Maytown Primary Grand Prize Winners in the Halloween Contest are pictured
above. The primary contest was open to grades 1 and 2. Grand Prize Winners, left to
right, are: ugliest, Michael Hamilton; prettiest, Shannon Ney; most original, Nichole
Sherk; and funniest, Tessa Singer.
Classroom winners in the primary grades follow: most original—Leslie Mowrer,
Jason Johnstin, Elizabeth Houseal and Nichole Sherk; ugliest—Julie Hertzog, Nicole
Waltimyer, Michael Hamilton and Kathy Burkholder; funniest—Tessa Singer, Alice

game shirt, complete with

Coach Gayne Deshler
expressed his pleasure with
the team’s winning perform-
ance this season (they lost
only three games, all to
good teams, and tied once).
He had special words of
praise for the fourteen
seniors. The record posted
in the last three years by the
Indians is 22 wins, ten
losses and one tie.
Beahm Junior High
to hold open house
The W.1. Beahm Jr. High
would like to invite all
parents to attend their
annual Parent-Teacher
Open House scheduled for
November 13th at 7 pm.
School Board members
will also be in attendance
that evening and can be
conferred with in the
cafeteria of the school.
Refreshments will be
served after the meeting.
