Karla Rex, daughter of
Charles and Eunice Rex,
R.D.#1, Box 218B, Colum-
bia, has received an aca-
demic scholarship from
Messiah College.
The college awards aca-
demic scholarships to stu-
dents who have distin-
guished themselves in the
classroom.
Miss Rex, a 1980 grad-
uate of Donegal High
School, plans to major in
accounting.
She was also honored at a
recently college convocation
as one of the outstanding
freshman for graduating in
the top S% of her high
school class.

Marine Pvt. Kenneth M.
Henry, son of Michael C.
and Pauline C. Henry, 107
S. River St., Maytown, has
reported for duty with 2nd
Force Service Support
Group, Marine Corps Base,
Camp Lejeune, N.C.
A 1980 graduate of
Donegal High School, he
joined the Marine Corps in
January 1980.

Airman Duane S. Gray
Airman Duane S. Gray,
son of Mr. and Mrs. James
P. Gray of 303 Marietta
Ave., Mount Joy, has been
assigned to Keesler Air
Force Base, Miss., after
completing Air Force basic
training.
During the six weeks at
Lackland Air Force Base,
Texas, the airman studied
the Air Force mission,
organization and customs
and received special train-
ing in human relations. He
also earned credits toward
an associate degree in
applied science through the
Community College of the
Air Force.
The airman will now
receive specialized instruc-
tion in the air operations
field.

Sherry L. Suter and Jeffry
Duke have been named girl
and boy of the month for
November at Donegal High
School.
Sherry is the daughter of -
Mr. and Mrs. Paul F. Suter,
417 Delta Street, Mount
Joy. An academic student at
Donegal, she plans to major
in electrical engineering in
college.
Sherry is a member of St.
Mark’s United Methodist
Church, Mount Joy.

the faculty have begun their
duties at Elizabethtown
College this semester. In-
cluded are two local resi-
dents.
Donna T. Mottilla, 383
Rivermoor Drive, Marietta,
is an assistant professor of
business. Ms. Mottilla
earned her bachelor of arts,
master of science in public
administration, and her
master of business admin-
istration from Shippensburg
State College and is a
doctoral candidate at Kent
State University. Prior to
coming to Elizabethtown,
she was an instructor at
Kent State.
Maurice R. Hoppie, 302
Rivermoor Drive, Marietta,
is assistant professor of
economics. He is a graduate
of Knoxville College and
earned his master of science
at the University of Tenn-
essee. He is
in economics at Tennessee.

bethtown faculty, Hoppie
currently
working toward a doctorate f:
was an instructor in eco-
nomics at the University of
Tennessee. From 1975 to
1978 he was an instructor at
Knoxville College and was
assistant to the Dean of the
College for public affairs in
