The couple will live in Maytown. 5 Obituaries ROBERT D. CLARK Robert D. Clark, SO, of 8 West Market St., Marietta, died last week at his place of employment. Clark became ill while working as a night watch- man at Penn Cast Foundry, Marietta. Clark was born in Colum- bia, the son of the late John J. and Mary 1. Mable Clark. He was baptized in the Presbyterian faith. He served with the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1950. He is survived by three brothers: James H., Hobe Sound, Fla.; Thomas 1J., Wrightsville; and Richard W., Columbia. Mrs. Jack Gamer, Jr. Joi Renee Shearer weds Jack Garner, Jr. The marriage of Joi Renee Shearer to Jack Eugene Garner, Jr. took place at 7:00 pm Saturday, Septem- ber 20, at the Saint Mark’s United Methodist Church, Mount Joy, with the Rev. Roger Colvin officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Shearer, Street, Mount Joy. Joi graduated from Donegal High School in the class of 1978 and is . presently employed at the National Mount Joy Bank as a receptionist. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack E. Garner, Sr., R.D.#1, Mount Joy. Jack graduated from Donegal High School and the Mount Joy Vo-Tech School in the class of 1974. He is self-employed with Jack Garner and Sons Welding and Machine Work. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a floor length Ivory gown made of imported silk accented with re-embroi- dered Brussels lace, venise lace, seed pearls and irre- desence. Her gown, with a portrait neckline, had long fitted sleeves with covered buttons. The natural waist- line flowed into an A-line skirt featuring re-embroid- ered Brussels lace. A back bodice, also with covered buttons, fell into a Cathedral length train edged with re- embroidered Brussels lace, seed pearls and irredesence. The headpiece, consisting of an ivory wreath of crystal flowers, was attached to a walking length veil with an embroidered edge. The bride carried a Colonial style bouquet with a cymbidium orchid ac-' cented with yellow rose buds, pom poms, baby spider mums and dark red sweetheart roses with Baby’s breath spread throughout the bouquet. -- 220 South Delta.
