Ronda Matheny and
David Derr have been
elected girl and boy of the
month for room #50 at
the Riverview Elementary
School.
Ronda, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George
Matheny, Marietta, is a
considered a good citizen by
her classmates. She works
quietly, listens to her
teachers, has good man-
ners, plays fairly and helps
others. Assisting her par-
ents and baby sitting, she
does her best at all times.
David is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Robert Derr,
Marietta, and he is also a
good citizen. He helps his
mother clean and carries
wood for his father. He sits
tall in his seat while at
school, works quietly, is
polite, and solves problems
easily.
David hopes to become a
cub scout in the near future.

The Chiques A.A.A. Co-
Ed Volleyball league has
changed its format for the
upcoming season, so that
the league will be more
balanced and competitive.
Some of the changes are:
1. The rule which states that
players must live within ten
miles of Marietta has been
dropped. (It is now an open
league). 2. All players
