plan 3d ‘Kountry Fair’
The Lutheran Church
Women of Trinity Lutheran
Church, Mount Joy, are
busy planning many new
attractions for their third
“Kountry Fair’’ to be held
Friday, November 14, from
10 am to 9 pm, and
Saturday, November 15,
from 9 am to 2 pm.
Mrs. Jane Drenner, chair-
man of the event, stated that
“due to popular demand,
crafts and many Christmas
gift ideas; Mrs. Judy
Weller, homemade goodies
from peanuts; Mrs. Barbara
Klepper, garage sale items
(no clothing); and Mrs.
Dorothy Heilig, public re-

Proceeds will benefit the
new Scholarship Fund of
Trinity Lutheran Church,
Mount Joy, and World
Hunger Appeal.

Kulinery Krinkles, featuring
recipes from church mem-
bers, will again be avail-

and Mrs. Donna Dumeyer,
homemade candies; Mrs.
Jean Weaver, ceramics;
Mrs. Fran Little and Mrs.
Elsie Brill, $1.00 and under
items for kiddies to buy or to
buy for the kiddies; Mrs.
Sue Zerphey, dried flowers
and arrangements; Mrs.
Carol Miller and Mrs.
Evelyn Duke, sewing, knit-
ting, crewling and crochet-
ing; Mrs. Donna Wetzel,
yard sale
The parishners of As-
sumption B.V.M. Catholic
Church, located on Union
School Road, will hold a
yard sale in the church
parking lot on Saturday,
September 13, from 9:00 am
to 3:00 pm.
Members of the Parish
will conduct their own
individual stands and a
large variety of merchandise
will be available. The Parish
Council of Catholic Women
will conduct the food stand.
Marietta JCs
plan carnival
for Saturday
The Marietta Jaycees will
hold a carnival Saturday,
September 13, from S pm at
the War Memorial Park,
Marietta. Chairmen of the
event are Harvey Reem and
Butch McCarty.
There will be games of
2 skill, bingo, live entertain-
ment and plenty of food
available.
Profits from the carnival
will benefit the ongoing
renovation of the community
\ center, the main project of
the Marietta Jaycees. The
: organization will host an
open house at the center
later this month.
