Newton, Pastor of Christian Education and Youth at CBC; Mr. Ed Charles, President, Donegal Mutual Insurance Company; and Mr. James Gish, Chairman of the Council, CBC. Marietta’s Congregational Bible Ch. gets old Donegal Mutual building The old Donegal Mutual Insurance Company build- ing on West Front Street, Marietta, was recently deeded to the Congrega- tional Bible Church by Mr. Ed Charles. The church will be using this building to expand its ministry and replace the old building on East Front Street. The new location is advantageous both because of additional space and its central location in the town. The church hopes to expand its ministry to the older youth in Marietta. For the past two months young people and adults have been busy painting, plastering, cleaning and tearing out the third floor of the building. Plans are to utilize the front third of the building. The first floor will be a lounge area with pool and ping pong tables, an office and a counseling room. The second and third floors will be opened up to make a multi-purpose room for basketball, street hock- ey, volleyball and large group meetings. The church’s Fall Youth Center program will begin as soon as the facility is ready. Girls’ Club, for girls ages 9-11, will be Monday night. Boys’ Club, for boys ages 9 to 12, will be Tuesday. Thursday night will feature basketball for guys ages 13 to 17, Friday night will be for teens, and Saturday night will include special teen concert pro- grams. Sunday afternoon will have a program for teen girls. All the programs involve recreation, Bible study and discussion. According to Rev. Gary C. Newton, Pastor of Christian Education and Youth at the church, the focus of the Youth Center is to present Jesus Christ as the person who loved the young people Tom Madden, NBC v-p, so much that He died for them. ‘‘The Christian lead- ers try to express this love in their relationships with the young people not by ‘preaching’ at them but by sharing with them an alternate way of life that is both challenging and fulfill- ling.” All programs are super- vised by trained Christian leaders. at Lancaster Ad Club The Lancaster Advertis- ing Club will be presenting NBC Vice-President Thomas J.
