First Chiques
Rock Revival
Sun., Sept. 7
The First Annual
Chicque’s Rock Revival will
be held Sunday, September
7, 1980, from 1:00 pm until
2:00 am at Circle Creek
Farm Campground, Route
441, Marietta. A collection
of rock, new wave and
country music will be
presented by performers
including The Sharks, Hun-
ter, The Wooden Band, The
West Philly Speed Boys,
Doc Roc and the Nuclear
Dogs, the Susquehanna
River Band, and the debut
performance of The Eyes.
Weather permitting, a
skydiving exhibition will be
presented by the Maytown
Sport Parachute Club. The
Chicque’s Rock Revival will
be held rain or shine, and a
circus tent covering approx-
imately 4,000 square feet
will be erected on the
Festival site.
Refreshments will be
available at all times, and a
food concession stand will
be sponsored by the Colum-
bia Little Theater. For more

Zone 7
The third annual Zone 7
fire company Field Day will
be held Sunday, September
7, at Rock Point Park,
next to the fire hall,
Maytown. Events will begin
at 1 pm, including contests
for all phases of fire service.
Registration will begin at 12
noon.
Companies particating in
the event are Maytown,
Bainbridge, Florin, Colum-
bia No. 1, and Vigilant Fire
Co. from Columbia. Paul
Knier, recently retired Lan-
caster County fire marshall,
will be one of the judges.

High School football game
at Columbia on Friday,
August 29, are as follows:
6:15—Florin and May-
town;
6:20—Mount Joy Memor-
ial Park and Marietta;
6:25—arrive at the high
school;
6:45—leave the high
school.
Any band or band front
uniforms being altered may
now be picked up at
Eicherly’s Cleaners, Mount
Joy, during store hours.
