Leader Nursing, Rehab. Center
to hold bazaar Saturday, August 16
Center is participating in the
MDA fund-raising drive for
two reasons: first, to fund
that organization’s worthy
efforts to stamp out a
crippling disease; and
second, to give residents of
the Center a chance to
demonstrate their useful-
ness to others. Many
elderly people, he pointed
out, feel that their useful
times are past. Activities
such as the bazaar show that
they can, indeed, still find a
useful role in society.
Many of the booths and
displays will be manned by
Leader Center residents.
Staff members and volun-
teers will stand by to give
any needed assistance.
