Tschudy, 471 Wasp Street, Marietta, died unexpectedly last week at the Columbia Hospital. He was 72. Tschudy, a lifelong resi- dent of Marietta, was retired from the former Olmstead Air Force Base in 1972. He also operated an auto repair business at his residence for about 25 years. He was the widower of Veronica Flanegan Tschudy and the son of the late Eli and Sadie Inners Tschudy. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Columbia, and held a position in the Office of the Aging, Columbia. He is survived by two sisters, Eva Weidman, Bainbridge, and Bernice Suess, York; three step- daughters; Mary, wife of Henry Bell, Columbia; EI- sie, wife of Glenn Gibble, Marietta; and Catherine, wife of James Brommer, Columbia; 14 step-grand- children; 29 step-great- grandchildren; and six step- great-great-grandchildren.
