Timothy Pretz, recently elected pastor of the English United Presbyterian Church in Marietta, will be installed and ordained at his church, West Market Street, at a special service at 4 pm on Sunday, July 27. Rev. Victor Bare, pastor of the Donegal Presbyterian Church, will take part in the ceremonies by reading the Call to Worship. Also taking part in the ordination will be Mrs. Robert Henry. An elder at the Marietta Church, she will have a scripture read- ing. Glossbrenner UMC & Florin CB to conduct Vacation Bible School Glossbrenner United Methodist Church and Flor- in Church of the Brethren will be co-sponsoring Bible School For All, a daily vacation Bible School, Aug- ust 4 to 8 from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm with classes for all ages four through adult. The children’s classes and adult classes will meet at the Glossbrenner Church, 713 Church Street, Mount Joy, and the youth class (grades seven to 12) will meet at the Florin Church, 815 Bruce Avenue, Mount Joy. The children’s program will include Bible Study, crafts and singing. Youth activities will include Bible Study and discussions re- lated to youth concerns, in addition to recreation, each evening. The adult program will deal with the Book of James with local ministers leading each evening. All members of the community are invited to attend the Bible School. Offering project will be designated to the Heifer Project International. Anyone desiring further information concerning the Bible School should call Vicki Forry (653-1514) or Libby Kettering (653-8591). Marietta Ambulance The Marietta Area Am- bulance Association is cur- rently sponsoring its annual membership drive.
