may be dropped off at any of
the Goodwill Collection
Boxes, including the one at
the Market Kart, Marietta,
or at the Goodwill Thrift
Stores located at 51 North
Queen Street, Lancaster;
Route 625 and Weaverland
Road, East Earl; and 1170
South State Street, Ephrata;
and also at the Administra-
tion Office Building, 1048
North Plum Street, Lan-
caster.
Pick-up service is possible
for very large amounts of

Mr. and Mrs. Walter B. Kettering
celebrate S0th wedding anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Walter B.
Kettering, 118 Maple Ave-
nue, Hershey, were guests
of honor at a dinner party
Saturday evening, July S, at
the Hershey Country Club.
The occasion was the
celebration of their SOth
wedding anniversary.
Hosting the party were
their sons and their wives,
Dr. and Mrs. W. Richard
Kettering of Millersville and
the Rev. and Mrs. Robert D.
Kettering of Mount Joy.
Guests were members of
their immediate family.
The couple was married
June 28, 1930, at the home
of the bride’s parents, by
Mr. Ketterings elder broth-
er, the late Rev. Harvey
Kettering of Palmyra. They
haved lived most of their
married life in Hershey.
Mrs. Kettering is the
former Emma Seltzer,
daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. John Seltzer of
Hershey. Mr. Kettering is
the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. John Kettering of
Palmyra.
Before his retirement in
1974, Mr. Kettering was
associated with the Hershey
Estates as manager of the
Hershey Laundry and Dry
Cleaning. Since his retire-
ment he and Mrs. Kettering
have established Emwalt
Services, Inc., which they
operate. Mr. Kettering is a
long-time member and past
president of the Hershey
Rotary Club. Both are
member of the First Evan-
gelical Congregational
Church in Palmyra, where
Mr. Kettering served for
many years as a member of
the board, as a lay delegate
and as Sunday School
superintendent and teacher.
The couple has five
grandchildren, -all of whom
were present for the cele-
bration. They are: Dr.
Richard Kettering of Lan-
caster; Mrs. David Kagel of
Spartansburg, S.C.; Kam
Kettering of Millersville;
and Barbara and Deborah
Kettering of Mount Joy.
