Mount Joy Charter Chapter
of the American Business
Women’s Association will
hold its second birthday
celebration, 6:30PM., at the
Tropical Treat Drive-In
(between Mount Joy and
Elizabethtown).
The guest speaker for the
evening will be Linda
Hollingshead, a representa-
tive from the Better Busi-
ness Bureau. Her topic will
be Consumer Complaints.
Carole A. Wenditz, em-
ployed at the Armstrong
Marietta Ceiling Plant as a
computer operator, will be
the vocational speaker.

Red Rose Chapter 80
of disabled veterans
to meet tonight, June 1
The Red Rose Chapter
#80 of the disabled Ameri-
can veterans will hold their
monthly meeting June 18,
1980. The meeting will be
held at 8:00 pm at the
American Legion Post #34,
1388 Arcadia Road, Lan-
caster. Installation of newly
elected officers will take
place at this time.
The public in invited with
a special plea for disabled
veterans, their wives and
families.
The chapters’ Ladies
Auziliary will hold their
meeting at 7:00 pm.

conducted the business
session when next year’s
hostess schedule was tena-
tively compiled.
Membership dues are
payable and John Metzger
pulled the winner for the
current project—a hand-
made bear-paw queen sized
quilt. The winner was Sue
Babec, Lancaster.
The group plans to
sponsor its annual Christ
mas luncheon at the home of
Mrs. Sarver on December
1st. The September lunch-
eon meeting will be held at
the Colonial Inn on the 8th,
at 11:45AM.

with the chaplain, Mrs.
