Tentative dates are June 23d, 25th, and 30th, and July 2d, from 7 to 10 p.m. Twenty people will be admitted to the course. Cost is minimal (it covers books and supplies). People who need either recertification or a new certification (Red Cross) are welcome. Admission to the course is on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 653-2460 or 653-1262. TE cpa x 3 RAR A EVAL AAS Se En Travels with Jesus is the theme of the Daily Vacation Church School which will be held June 23 through June 27, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy, for children from age 3 through and including grade 8. Although the Nursery children ages 3 and 4 will be split into two classes, they will both be studying “Getting to Know Jesus.” Teaching the 3-year-olds will be Patsy Ney, Susan Richards and Karen Gaud- assisted by Laurie: lip, Miller, Kathy Henly, Barbie Ney and Michele Vogt. The 4-year-olds will meet in the Choir Room and will be taught by Donna Dumeyer, Anita Brenner, June Hon- icker, assisted by Lisa Ruhl, Liz Edwards and Pam Byrd. The Kindergarten, for children who have just finished kindergarten and those who will enter in the fall, will learn about ‘‘The Way it was Where Jesus Lived.” They will be taught by Beverly Swanson, Sheri Smoker, Vickie Brown and Spring Teleky, assisted by Julie Klepper and Sharon Buckley. They will meet in the regular Kindergarten room. The First and Second Grade will be studying “Where Jesus Lived and Worked’’ and will be taught by Suzette McCarty, Mari- anne Melleby, Leona- Francis Woskowiak, as- sisted by Sue Klepper and Wendy Weller. They will meet on the second floor. The Third and Fourth Grade will be taught by Judie Weller, Evelyn Duke, Carol Miller and Mildred Zink. They will be studying “People Jesus Met’’ and meet in the Fellowship Hall. The Fifth and Sixth Grade will be studying ‘‘A Tour of the Holy Land’’ and will be taught by Pam Bucher and Pat Enos. They will meet in the old basement. . i Ile 8000 Dron Trinity Church School The Seventh and Eighth Grade will be taught by Don Drenner, Jr. and will study “Along the Way with Jesus.” They will meet in the church parlor. Willie Zink is in charge of the Travel Center which will feature a large map of the Holy Land, interesting pic- tures, a table of Bible Time foods, a visit from Charles Heaps who will show slides of the Holy Lands, and various items added by the classes each day. LeonaFrances Woskowiak will lead the singing and Carol Miller will play the piano for group singing during the morning de- votions. June Smith and Thelma Bomwan will be in charge of the kitchen with refresh- ments furnshished daily. Fran Little, Elsie Brill and Jean Weaver will be in charge of the Bible Times Foods Table. This year a Crib Nursery will be held for Bible School Teachers’ children only. The people in charge there will by Mary Ann Krause, Pat Paulsen, Pam Byrd and Mary Ann Lauver, with an occasional assist from Casey Krause. Children ages three through and including eighth grade are invited to come to the Daily Vacation Church School. Cross Roads’ Bible School Cross Roads Brethren in Christ Church, Mount Joy, is holding Vacation Bible School for pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. The Bible School will run through Friday, June 13, from 7 to 9 pm. Everyone is welcome.
