Eight Donegal High
School students will be
attending camps over the
summer brcak this year.
The students are sponsored
by the Mount Joy Rotary
Club and the Mount Joy
Legion Post #188.
Students attending the
Rotary Leaders Camp at
Messiah College from June
8 to 12 are:
Marietta street hockey team practices behind the
Jaycee center.
Marietta street hockey
Since October, a group
of energetic Marietta youth
has been meeting each week
to play street hockey under
the leadership of Ken Smith
and Gary Newton. Oc-
casionally, they have playec
teams from Mount Joy and
Maytown. Although they
only officially won one
game, this is the first year
for the team and Marietta
can be very proud of them.
The following organiza-
tions made donations to the
team:
Marietta Borough Council
donated use of the Com-
munity Center gym.
Marietta Jaycees donated
use of their playground.
U. S. Aluminum and Mr.
Jack Neal donated shin
pads, goalie equipment,
broom and sticks.
Hiestand Distributors do-
nated hockey nets and
asphalt to repair potholes in
the playground.
Here is a list of the boys
