Obituaries
MRS. CLARENCE LOHR
Ruth E. Lohr, 83, of 120
Harter St., Maytown, died
Tuesday at Lancaster Gen-
eral Hospital following a
lengthy illness.
She was the widow of
Clarence P. Lohr, who died
in 1931, and she was a
member of the Florin
Church of the Brethren.
Born in Maple Glen,
Somerset County, she was a
daughter of the late Jonas
M. and Mary Reitz Peck.
She is survived by three
daughters; Margaret, wife
of Upton E. Myers, May-
town; Dorothy, wife of
Kenneth L. Stair, Green-
belt, Md.; and Mary Ellen,
wife of David U. Myers,
Ellicott City, Md.; seven
grandchildren; seven great-
grandchildren; a brother,
Paul J. Peck, Springs; and
three sisters, Alma, wife of
Harold E. Myers, Westmin-
ster, Md.; Mabel Whitacre,
Berlin; and Miriam, wife of
Willard Lease, Friedens.
MRS. JOHN STARLIPER
Mrs. Margaret Krall Star-
liper, a native of Mount Joy,
died May S in Naples, Fla.,
where she had resided for
the past ten years.
She was the wife of John
Cameron Starliper. They
moved to Naples from Paoli
10 years ago. Mrs. Starliper
was born in Mount Joy, a

she is survived by one
daughter, Jean, wife of Dr.
L. K. Williams of Ithaca,
N.Y.; and two sisters,
Helen, wife of Joseph Te M.
Breneman, and Mildred,
wife of Lester E. Roberts,
both of Mount Joy.
ARTHUR REINHART, SR.
Arthur John Reinhart,
Sr., 70, of 203 W. Donegal
St., Mount Joy, died
Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. at St.
Joseph Hospital after an
illness of one year. He was
the husband of LaRue
Raffensberger Reinhart.
He was a resident of
Mount Joy for the past 40
years and was formerly of
Elizabethtown.
Before his retirement in
1975, Reinhart had been
employed as a shoe cutter at
Empire Shoe Co., Elizabeth-
town, for 37 years.
He was a former member
of the Loyal Order of Moose,
Lodge 596, Elizabethtown.
He was of the Lutheran
faith.
A son of the late John and
Anna Keller Reinhart, he
was born in Lebanon
County.
Besides his wife, he is
survived by two sons,
Arthur J. Reinhart, Jr., at
home, and Richard Rein-
hart, Hershey.

quarters at 7:30 p.m.
Election of officers will be
held at a similar meeting to
be held at Memorial Park on
Thursday, June 12. Volun-
teers for office, personnel
for stands at the fair, and for
the many activities of this
organization are urged to
' attend either or both of
these sessions.
Riverview
gym show
The second annual gym-
nastics show will be held at
the Riverview Elementary
School on Thursday, May
22, at 7:30 p.m.
The group has been
training under / ‘Donegal
School District physical
education director Warren
Hayman since September,
in preparation for this
exhibition.
The public is invited to
attend this show, which
coincides with the final
session of the PACT parent-
teacher organization.
