Mr. and Mrs. Harry Engle . Mr./Mrs. Harry Engle | have 50th anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Engle, The Alpine, shey, celebrated their 50th Anniversary on Sunday, May 11. The couple was honored by their children with a dinner at Indian Springs followed by a surprise drop-in reception at the Cross Roads Brethren in Christ Church, Mount Joy. Native of the Mount Joy area, the couple was married at the home of the bride on May 7, 1930. Mrs. Engle is the daughter of the late Christian N. and Frances Hershey of R.D.#2, Mount Joy. Mr. Engle is the Maytown fire report Chief Charles Shaffner of the Maytown Fire Company reported that the company responded to four emer- gency calls, one controlled burning and one public service call in the month of April. No property damage was reported for East Donegal Township. Emergency calls were as follows: 4/3, vehicle acci- dent, assist Maytown am- bulance; 4/4, reported structure fire, false alarm, company services not need- ed; 4/20, vehicle accident at Rt. 441, assist Maytown ambulance; 4/29, reported electrical fire at Brown Bag, Rt. 441, no property da- mage. A total of 32 firemen responded on the month’s Her-, son of the late Cuba and Katie Engle. They are the parents of the Rev. Kenneth L. Engle, Waynesboro, and the Rev. Dale H. Engle, Mount Joy.
