Mrs. Winefred Buell was co-hostess. The group will conduct a food sale at the home of Mrs. George Houseal, 243 W. Market Street, Marietta, on Marietta Day, May 17. Coffee and donuts, hot dogs and saurkraut, and home- made goodies will be offered for sale. Chances on a hand-made quilt in the bear claw pattern, which are currently on sale, will also be solicited on May 17. Profits will be contributed to the hospital. The organization spon- sored a pinochle card party on April 15, at the Marietta Community House, Mrs. George Houseal and Mrs. William Heisey - served as co-chairpersons of the benefit. Cizauskas is named Eagle Scout George M. Cizauskas, 14, son of Mrs. and Mrs. George Cizauskas of 58 Vista Drive, Maytown, was presented the Eagle Pro- gress Award by Mr. Jay C. Shank, Assistant Scout- master of Troop S3, May- town, on Monday, April 14. He was also presented a plaque and trophy from the troop committee, and awarded the junior assistant scoutmaster badge. George is a freshman at Donegal High School. He joined the Boy Scouts in November of ’77, and in his time he served as; assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader, senior patrol leader, and bugler. He is an ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow in the Chiques Chapter, Wunita Lodge, where he participates in the Indian dance team and election team. George attended summer camp at the J. Edward Mack Scout Reservation in ’77 and 78, and hopes to attend summer camp at Camp Bayshore Scout Reservation this year with his troop. His service project consisted of painting a pavillion in the Legion Park in Maytown, sponsored by the East Donegal Township Park Commission. He plays trumpet in the Donegal High School Band and is a member of the Dramatics Club. George was a member of the swim team of the Mount Joy pool in the summer of '78. He won first place and fifth place in his seventh and eighth grade science fairs at Beahm Junior High School. He is a member of the youth group at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catho- lic Church in Mount Joy. Mount Joy Chorus plans Sing-Along The Mount Joy Commun- ity Chorus is planning “A Night of Music and Fun’’ for Saturday, May 3, at the Donegal High School. The event will begin at 8 pm. An “‘old-fashion’’ Sing- Along with Cordovox ac- companiment and choral selections will highlight this informal night of music. Annual fishing derby set for Sunday, May 11 The Elizabethtown-Mount Joy Forest Fire Crew will hold its annual fishing derby at the Mount Joy Cove Sunday, May 11, from 1 to 4 pm. The derby is open to all boys and girls 15 years of age and under. Prizes will be awarded for the first fish caught, most fish caught, smallest fish caught and largest fish caught. The derby has two classes: age 9 through and including 15; and age 8 and under. There is no charge for the derby. Refreshments will be served by crew members. —Raymond E. Heisey
