HAROLD FRYBERGER
Harold Fryberger, 80,
died at Columbia Hospital
where he was a patient. He
resided at 424 N. Plumb St.,
Mount Joy.
The husband of the late
Elizabeth Siple Fryberger,
he was born in Marietta, the
son of the late Walter and
Elizabeth Ulm Fryberger.
Fryberger was the main-
tenance supervisor for Beth-
lehem Steel, Baltimore,
Md., until his retirement.
He was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church, Marietta.
He is survived by one
brother, Frederick Fryber-
ger, Ellicott City, Md., two
grandchildren and 3 great-
grandchildren.
PAUL W. SHETTER
Paul Winfield Shetter, 69,
died at St. Joseph Hospital
after an illness of three
years. He resided at 943
Church St., Mount Joy.
A resident of Mount Joy
all his life, he was the
husband of Dorothy Barn-
hart Shetter.
He was retired from the
former Bachman Chocolate
Co., and formerly worked at
Gerberich-Payne Shoe Co.,
Mount Joy for 3S years.
A member of Glossbren-
ner United Methodist
Church, he was a former
member of Mount Joy
Sportsmen’s Association.
Born in Florin, he was a
son of the late George S. and
Annie Flowers Shetter.
In addition to his wife, he
is survived by a daughter,
Patricia A., wife of C.
Robert Tate, Elizabethtown;
one grandson; a brother,
Arthur E. Shetter, Neffs-
ville; and a sister, Goldie S.
Todd, Manheim.
HARRY G. ZERPHEY
Harry G. Zerphey, Mount
Joy R2, died unexpectedly
at Lancaster General Hospi-
tal. A retired farmer, he had
been under the care of a
physician. He was 84.
The husband of Mary
Kaylor Zerphey, he was a
member of Florin Church of
Mount Joy Joycee-ettes
the play. Combining sus-
pense, greed and laughter,
the plot shows the contrast
the Brethren.
A son of the late Henry H.
and Maggie Geib Zerphey,
he was born in Rapho
Township.
In addition to his wife, he
is survived by one daughter,
Mary Jane, wife of Michael
R. Wargo, Columbia RI;
one foster-son, Robert J.
Tormo, Elizabethtown Rl;
two brothers, Arthur G.
Zerphey, Mount Joy and
Harvey G. Zerphey, Eliza-
bethtown; four foster-grand-
children; and three foster
great-grandchildren.
offer babysitting clinic
The Mount Joy Joycee-
ettes are sponsoring a
babysitting clinic for Done-
gal School District students.
Boys and girls in grades 7
and 8 are eligible.
The course consists of
four two-hour classes begin-
ning April 28 and continuing
through May S, 12 and 19,
from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at
Trinity Lutheran Church of
Mount Joy. Registration will
be at Beahm Junior High
from April 15 to 17. A $1.00
donation will be collected
the first evening. :
The course provides an
informative and valuable
background for current and
prospective babysitters. A
registered nurse will give
instruction on basic first aid
and care of infants. A
fireman and policeman will
speak on fire safety and
emergency procedures.
Students will have the
opportunity to discuss ex-
pectations of babysitters
with a panel of mothers and
children of various ages.
A babysitting certificate
will be awarded to those
who attend all four classes
and pass the final exam-
ination. Their name and
phone number will be
printed in the babysitting
directory distributed
throughout the Mount Joy
area. For more information,

Cloister staff. Anne Hart-
man is stage manager and
Jim McBride is production
assistant. Understudies are
Sherry Michener and Betty-
Sue Gerfin. Bea Hughes is
in charge of props and
costumes.
Curtain time for all
perfomances will be 7:30
pm. Tickets, which can be
urchased at the door or
m any cast member, are
$1.50 for students and $2.00
for adults.
