Membership in the Donegal Chapter of the Society is attained by achieving a 4.0 average during the first seven nine-week marking periods of study of the language. Hess, Spanish instructor at the high school. §88 Spec. 4 Michael H. Leas, son of Mrs. and Mrs. John R. Leas, Maytown, Pa. recently completed the Primary Leadership Course in Germany. The course is designed to train men who have been selected by their com- manders for advancement as non-commissioned offficers. Leas is a military police- man with the 615th Military Police Company in Illes- heim, Germany. §§8 Donald Rossman of Mount Joy, age 9, won first place in the central Pennsyl- vania division of an art show for the mentally handi- capped held in Harrisburg last week. Donald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rossman, won with his painting of a King Cobra. The painting will now be entered in the statewide contest. Michelle, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin McMillen, Longenecker Av- enue, Marietta, was sited for being a good citizen who uses her time wisely and helps her mother and father clean. Michelle does not disturb others and she enjoys taking care of her parakeet. She attends Brownies every week. Victor, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Eisenhauer, 562 E. Market Street, Marietta, is a good citizen who is concerned about others. He is described as an honest and true friend who apolo- Pack 136 listens to policeman, doctor Pack 136 heard talks by Officer William Roberts of the Mount Joy Police Department and Dr. David Schlosser. Three boys from Pack 136 entered the Western District Pinewood Derby at Park City. They are Jeffery Suter, Kirk Landis and Christopher Augenstein. Joy.
