The meeting opened with the invocation by Dr. Ezra Ranck and was followed with cake and coffee. President Joe Shaeffer called the business meeting to order with the pledge of allegiance to the flag. Teressa Heisey pre- sented the secretary’s re- port, and Almeda Hostetter gave the treasurer’s report. Lena Eshleman of the Sunshine Committee re- ported three cards sent to the sick. A few birthdays and anniversaries were acknowledged. A bus trip to Washington D.C. is being planned for Saturday, May 3. Members were given the chance to sign up for the trip at the meeting.
