Little People’s Parents meet
Little People’s Coopera-
tive Nursery School of
Mount Joy will hold its
Spring Parents’ Meeting on
Thursday, March 13, at 7:30
pm. The meeting will be
held in the fellowship hall of
the Florin Church of the
Brethren, Mount Joy.
A program has been
planned which will include
the presentation of slides
showing the various act-
ivities the children have
participated in throughout
the year. A slate of new
officers will be presented
and the election of the new
executive board will take
place.
Anyone interested in
learning about the operation
of this cooperative nursery
school is invited to attend
this meeting. Applications
for enrollment will be
available.
Enrollment for the 1980-
81 school year will be open
for new students beginning

Warner Amex of Marietta
has announced the premiere
of a satellite transmission
service called ‘THE MOVIE
CHANNEL” that provides
first-run motion pictures
and other family program-
ing to cable subscribers via
satellite.
“THE MOVIE CHAN-
NEL” service will be
available to more than 5,000
subscribers in the Marietta,
Mount Joy, and Elizabeth-
town areas beginning April
1st according to Ron Amick,
Warner Amex system man-
ager of Marietta.

ask community
to Craft Days
With Spring just weeks
away, you won't want to
miss the Mount Joy Joycee-
ettes Craft Days activities.
Numerous items crafted
by local people will be on
display, vying for prizes. In
addition to the craft show,
there will be a bazaar
featuring handmade items
for Spring. A baked goods
stand plus a do-it-yourself
cookie decorating stand will
also be available. + To
conclude the days’ act-
ivities, a raffle will be held
with the winning tickets
receiving a beautiful woven
afghan, a pitcher and bowl
set, or a decorative ceramic
owl.

Obituaries
MARTHA M. BOYER
Martha M. Boyer, 82, of
120S S. 28th Street, Harris-
burg, formerly of Marietta,
died Tuesday at her resi-
dence following a two-year
illness.
She was the wife of the
late John C. Boyer and a
member of the Zion Luther-
an Church, Marietta.
" Born in Marietta, she was
the daughter of the late
Barndard and Martha Rey-
nolds Westenheffer.
She is survived by a
daughter Helen, wife of
Walter M. Brown, Harris-
burg; a son, John R. Boyer,
Belmont, Calif.; four grand-
children; and five great-
grandchildren.
ELSIE E. MYERS
Elsie E. Myers, 145 New
Haven Street, Mount Joy,
died at the Lancaster
General Hospital after a
two-year illness.
She was the wife of Albert
Myers and had been a
resident of Mount Joy for
the past S3 years.
She was retired from the
Bachman Chocolate Co.,
Mount Joy, after 25 years as
an employee. Mrs. Myers
was a member of St. Mark's
United Methodist Church
and the Mount Joy Ameri-
can Legion auxiliary.
She was born in Lan-
caster, the daughter of the
late John and Daisy
Mowrer.
Surviving in addition to
her husband is a niece.
KENNETH O’REILLY
Kenneth O'Reilly, 17
Village Town House, May-
town, died at the Columbia
Hospital after a lengthy
illness. He was 69.
He was the husband of
Ethel Walton O'Reilly.
Born in Columbia, the son
of the late William J. and
Rebecca Dunbar O'Reilly,
he was baptized in the
Christian faith.
Mr. O'Reilly was a retired
Penn Central passenger
enginerr. He was a member
of the Penn Central Brother-
hood of Locomotive Engin-
eers, Division 74, Columbia
Lodge 1074 BPOE.
In addition to his wife he
is survived by a daughter,
Dolores, wife of Glenn L.
Arnold, Maytown; twee
grandchildren: and a sister
Mrs. Caroline Andrews.
