Florin C. of B. & Glossbrenner U.M.
plan six Lenten Sharing evenings
The Florin Church of the
Brethren and Glossbrenner
United Methodist Church of
Mount Joy will provide six
Sunday evenings of Lenten
Sharing. During the first
four Sunday evenings six
group activities will be
offered.
One group will be on
banner making. Under the
leadership of Bette Mum-
maw and Cindy Studebaker,
the group will make a
banner for each church to be
used in worship during
Eastertide.
A drama group, directed
by Joan Kendig and Mark
Wagner, will prepare the
drama ‘‘The Verdict’’ by
Peter C. Nichols for present-
ation on March 23.
Carol Borry and James
234 TIP
Eshelman will lead a Bible
study group centering on
the places of passion.
Singing and Sharing will
be another group led by
Steve Smith and James
Valle.
A pantomime and creative
movement group will seek to
interpret the Gethsemane
experience. Patti McAfee
and Debra Morris will lead
this unique group.
A Children’s Kaleido-
scope will be the sixth group
and will feature Bible
stories, singing and crafts
for school children through
sixth grade. Vicki Stehman

charge of the group.
Lenten Sharing on Feb-
ruary 24 and March 2 will be
held at the Florin Church
ERC C00 18

sessions will be at Gloss-
brenner Church. Each of
these four Sundays, the
Lenten Sharing will start at
6:30 pm with a time of
worship. The six groups will
then meet from 7:00 to 8:00.
Lenten Sharing on March
23 will be held at Glossbren-
ner Church from 7:00 to 8:00
pm. Sharing that evening
will be from the input of the
six groups.

conclude with a carry-in
supper and program on
March 30 at the Florin
Church starting at 5:30 pm.
