(alternate) Prayer Meeting to host scout worship service Dr. Reid Thomas has announced as part of Scout Month activities, the Chiques United Methodist Church, Route 230, Mount Joy will host a Scout Worship Service, Sunday, February 17 at 10:30 am. ‘America Today — To- morrow?’’ is the title of the morning message to be delivered by Phillip Steh- man an Eagle Scout from Troop #30. Phil is a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster and nas served on the Pro- visional Troop Staff at the J. Edward Mack Scout Reser- vation, conducted a Jr. Leader Training Course for a number of Troops in the Western District and this summer will serve on the Council’s J.L.T. Staff. Phil is a senior at the Penn Manor High School where he is an officer of Penn Manor’s Key Club and a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Life Scout Christopher Hoover from Troop #30 will give the Children’s Mes- sage, read the Scriptures and offer the morning prayer. Gerald Alleman, Member of the Western District Scout Committee and also a Certified Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church will be coordinating the service.
