Obituaries
MRS. MABEL EARHART
Mrs. Mabel Stauffer Ear-
hart, formerly of Mount Joy
R2, died at the Brethren
Village, Neffsville, where
she had lived since 1971.
She was 84.
She was the widow of
John K. Earhart who died in
1973. She was born in East
Hempfield Township, the
daughter of the late Samuel
N. and Maggie Vogel
Stauffer. A member of the
East Fairview Church of the
Brethren, Manheim, she
served as a church deacon-
ess.
Surviving are a son, the
Rev. J. Stanley Earhart,
Grantham; a daughter, Mrs.
Ethel Beamenderfer, Mount
Joy Rl; seven grandchild-
ren; five great-grandchild-
ren; and a sister, Hattie M.,
wife of Carl B. Drohan,
Mount Joy R3.
DOROTHY M. WERTZ
Mrs. Dorothy M. Wertz,
60, formerly of Mount Joy,
died at the Heatherbank
nursing home, Columbia,
after an illness of eight
months.
Mrs. Wertz was born in
Mount Joy. She was the
daughter of the late Paul E.
and Hetty May Winter-
meyer Wagner and the
widow of Amos Wertz who
died in 1969.
She is survived by four
brothers and three sisters:
Helen, wife of Harlan Pool,
Columbia; Harry Wagner,
Columbia; Clarence, Robert
and Paul Wagner, all of
Mount Joy; Ruth Weidman,
Manheim; and Marie Zeller,
Lancaster.
