Clinic hours are 9:00 to 11:30 am at the Community Building, 258 W. Market Street, Marietta. Immunizations, physical examinations, special test- ing and parent counseling are available to the children seen at the clinic. Parents are requested to bring any children who have never been seen at the clinic on Tuesday or to schedule an appointment by calling the the Community Building at 426-3106 during clinic hours. The public health nurses also invite all community persons interested in having their blood pressure checked to come between 11:00 and 12:00 noon on the same days (Tuesday and Thursday). We regret to inform the public that the Well Child Clinic will be having its final sessions in March. Children will be referred to other health facilities for routine care after the March 11 and 13 conferences. Similar services are offered in Elizabethtown and Colum- bia. Steven Englert guest speaker for Riverview Sgt. Steven Englert of the Marietta Police Department was the guest speaker at last Tuesday night PACT (Par- ents acting in concept and teachers) at the Riverview Elementary School, Mariet- ta. Drug and alcohol abuse was the subject of the discussion. Sgt. Englert exhibited several types of drugs in their plant forms, distributed literature ex- plaining the various effects of drugs and mentioned symptoms of a drug user. A question and answer period followed. The business meeting following with Robert Heis- erman, chairman, conduct- ing the meeting. The February meeting was post- poned, and the next meeting will be held March 27. A night of music is planned and officers will be elected.
