Conference speakers in- clude: Dr. Lester E. Pipkin, Founder and President of Appalachian Bible Fellow- ship and Appalachian Bible College, Bradley, West Virginia; Dr. Charles W. Anderson, President and Founder of Northeastern College, Essex Fells, New Jersey; Dr. Paul R. Van Gorder, Speaker, author and The Rev. Jack Cooper from Princeton to hold special service at Donegal Presbyterian The Rev. Jack Cooper, Director of Continuing Edu- cation at Princeton Theo- logical Seminary, will be in the pulpit of Donegal Presbyterian Church at the 9 am worship service Sunday, January 20. Dr. Cooper is in charge of a program which each year draws more than 1000 ministers and laymen to Princeton Seminary for seminars. The seminary is one of the causes to which Donegal Church’s benev- olence offerings are de- voted. At this Seminary Sunday service, Dr. Cooper will be introduced by the pastor of Donegal, Dr. Victor Baer, Prophecy Conference to be held at the Word of Life Chapel, Bainbridge Associate Teacher of the Radio Bible Class and Day of Discovery weekly color telecast; Dr. Thomas V. Taylor, Associate Professor of Old Testament and Church History, Biblical Theological Seminary, Hat- field, PA; and Dr. Ralph L. Keiper, Associate Professor of Bible, Conservative Bap- tist Theological Seminary, Denver, Colorado. Services will be held each evening (except Saturday) at 7:30 and at 10:30 on each of the Sunday mornings. who is a graduate of Princeton Seminary. Dr. Cooper, a native of Baltimore, is a graduate of Wagner Memorial Lutheran College and Princeton Sem- inary, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh and has studied at Union Theological Seminary, New York. Ordained in 1943 by New York Presbytery, he served three years in the Navy as a chaplain. He was an assistant minister in Scotland while studying in that country. He became pastor of First Presbyterian Church at Watervliet, N.Y., in 1949, and of State Street Presbyterian Church in Schenedtady, N.Y., in 1951, serving there until accepting the executive leadership of Albany Presbytery in 1958. He has three times been a commissioner to the General Assembly of the United Presbyterian Church, and was elected Moderator of two presbyteries. Active in community af- fairs, he is past president of the Family Service Agency of Princeton Area, serves on the area Council of Com- munity Services, and is a member of the board of directors of Princeton Ro- tary Club. He is married and has four children. As Director of Continuing Education at the seminary, he * directs a program designed primarily to fit the needs of ministers for continuing intellectual and professional growth, but seminars are also held for business executives, lay church leaders, educators and others.
