Mount Joy Borough
council met Monday night to
swear in new members and
- elect officers.
The regular meeting of
the council will be next
Monday.
Justice Raymond B.
Knorr administered the oath
of office to C. Miller
Wolgemuth, elected to an
additional term on council;
Charles W. Ricedorf, former
president of council who
resigned and then ran again
for a seat on council; John
W. Harnish, elected to his
first term on council and
also Robert D. Stoner, also
elected to his first term on
council.
Following the swearing in
of the new members, council
elected Ammon L. Smith
president. Paul L. Stehman
was elected vice-president.
Mayor James Gingrich
officiated during the elect-
ion of the new president and
vice-president.
The newly elected presi,
dent Smith then took the
gavel from the mayor.
Smith thanked council for
their confidence in him.
Bruce Hamer, borough
manager was elected bo-
rough secretary and zoning
officer of the borough.
D. C. Gohn Associates
were re-selected as borough
engineers.
Barley, Snyder, Cooper,
and Barber were selected as
borough solicitor.
Trout, Ebersole, and
Groff were picked again as
borough auditor.

Borough Council Monday
night in council chambers.
