FREY Register of Wills & Clerk of Orphans’ Court Division ot the Court of Common Pleas. VIEVE. dec'd.. 837 of Teacher of the Week Catharine Zeller [continued from page 2] - Since her retirement Miss Zeller has been travelling widely. Last year she went to Egypt, this year to the Balkans. She travelled by herself in Yugoslavia and returned to Mount Joy in October. She says that the Dalmatian coast of Yugo- slavia is the most scenic in Europe. The temperature remained around 70 degrees Fahrenheit; there was no humidity; it was ‘“‘absolutely gorgeous.”’ She went to Yugoslavia to see the Roman ruins about which she had heard while in Italy on an archaeological investigation. She has stud- ied archaeology in Greece and Sicily in addition to Italy. Medieval as well as ancient history interests Miss Zeller. She would like to go to Toulouse to study the medieval culture there. In general, she prefers the Mediterranean countries to the northern European ones, but she did enjoy her trip to Russia a few years ago, and, with her love of English, she enjoyed visit- ing England. "In retirement, in addition to travelling, she is enjoying her hobbies, including play- ing bridge. ‘‘l like being with people,” she says, “but 1 don’t mind being alone. *‘1 don’t watch TV.”’ Miss Zeller has always had a contempt for trashy literature and discouraged her students from reading it. She still reads only the best books, but is reading less fiction than previously. She is reading more politics and history, and has recently read the autobio- graphical works of Nixon, Kissinger and Anwar Sadat. She still likes to do cross-word puzzles and finishes off the one in Sunday New York Times Magazine with dispatch. let us rejoice fto- | gether for it is the time of our dear Savior's birthday. Sells Barber Shep Marietta 426-3818 A new activity for Miss Zeller since retiring is walking. Every day she walks five miles in one hour. That is pretty fast walking. As a result of her walking she feels very fit. Although she has plenty of activities to fill her days, Miss Zeller, who wanted to be a teacher since she was in the second grade, would probably not be completely happy unless she was doing some teaching. She is tutoring a Vietnamese boy at Grandview in English. At first he was a reluctant learner, but now he is teaching Miss Zeller Viet- namese. In order to teach her, however, he has to ask her, ‘‘What is that in English?" There is a way, apparent- ly for everyone to learn. “You teach students first, subjects second,’ says Miss Zeller. make the mess less. IN-SINK-ERATOR DISPOSERS DO MORE. There have fo be good reasons why more In-Sink-Erator dis- posers are sold and instalied every year than any other make. Our grinding ring, for example, is the strongest made. W's the core of our disposers along with our own ISE-made electric motors. Then we add the extra things. A tough polypropylene shield prolects against inferior corro- sion. Automatic reversing action extends the Iife of the grinding elements. So ask for In-Sink-Erator next fime. To make your mess less... we make our disposers do more. R.V. RICHARDS & SONS, INC.
