Dec. 10 Father Daniel Berrigan, nationally-known author and clergyman, will speak on “The Moral and Ethical Implications of Nuclear Power’’ on Monday, Dec. 10th, at 8:00pm, in F&M’s Hensel Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Susque- hanna Valley Alliance. Berrigan has published 20 books, which include poetry, essays, prayers and medita- tions. He is the founder of the Catholic Peace Fellow- ship and the recipient of the War Resistors League peace award of 1974. at Cong. Bible Church On Saturday, Dec. 8th, at 7:30pm, and on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 9th, at 3:00pm, and again at 7:30pm, the Senior Choir and the young people of Congregational Bible Church, Route 441, Mari- etta, will present their sixth annual Christmas pageant, **The Story of Christmas.’ The story unfolds with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, goes on to the prophecies of Isaiah about the coming Messiah, the angel's annunciation to Mary, the birth of Christ, the coming of the three wise men and the angels’ The Well Child Clinic will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11th, and Thursday. Dec. 15th, at the Community House in Marietta. Hours are 9:00 to 11:30am. Testing, shots, physical exams, and counselling are all available. If your child is appearance to the shep- herds, and ends with the Christians’ hope of Christ's Second Coming. Each year hundreds have come to see this pageant, and each year some have been turned away because the church could not hold them all.
