Mount Joy Street, Elizabethtown, on Saturday, December 1st, between 9am and 4pm? The profits will benefit the Halt Children’s Services and the church’s refugee fund. While you shop there will be coffee, cold drinks and donuts available. You can also stay for lunch, which will be served betwéen 10am and 1pm. To put you in the holiday mood there will be carolers and music by Dr. Carl Shull on the harpsichord. One added attraction this year will be ‘‘The Children’s Room,’’ available for chil- dren only! Many lovely gifts and wrappings will be made available to aid the kiddies! There will be articles for sale in many sizes and shapes and prices to suit all. The items available this year are: S varieties of wreaths, plants, pocketbooks, spice ropes, crocheted articles, Wooden puzzles and games, doorstop chickens, pothold- ers, casserole holders, aprons, cups, nativity sets, Advent calendars, tree de- cor, clothespin trains, and items too numerous to mention. For the tiny tots, there will be a Pocket Lady carrying items for the little one to choose from. At 3pm there will be an auction of a handmade quilt, the theme is the International Year of the Child. This lovely quilt was assembled by the ladies from the church. You may also choose a caricature to be done by Lynn Grubb, and Mary Fairbanks. And of course, you'll find the ever-popular homemade food goodies. So be sure and plan to stop by and see all the items available at the Elizabeth- town Church of the Brethren.
