Main Street, Mount Joy, died last Wednesday at the Heatherbank Nursing Home near Columbia, after a long illness. He was the husband of Mary Guthridge Gingrich. He was born in Mount Joy Township, a son of the late Albert and Ada Garman Gingrich. He had worked as an oiler and car inspector for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Surviving him, in addition to his wife, are: two sons, Stanley E. of Landisville, and James A. of Mount Joy; a daughter, Sue, the wife of Robert N. Gantz, Mount Joy; six grandchildren; two sisters, Annie G., wife of Paul Good, RD3 Eilzabeth- town, and Alma G., wife of Charles G. Bailey, RD4 Elizabethtown; and a bro- ther, Albert G., of Dover. MRS. NORMAN R. WHITE Mrs. Jane G. Gomph White, 89, of the Mount Hope Dunkard Brethren Church Home, Manheim, died there last week. She had lived in the home for five years. Formerly of Marietta, Mrs. White was the widow of Norman R. White, who died in 1968. She was born in Marietta, the daughter of the late Jacob and Jane McCune Gomph. She was a member of the English United Presbyterian Church in Marietta, and a past matron of the Donegal Chapter 422, Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving her are: a son, Norman, of New Orleans; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
