Belle Balmer of RD2
Mount Joy is one of six
contestants for the title of
Lancaster County Poultry
Queen. The pageant will be
held on August 3rd at the
Farm and Home Center.
Miss Balmer is the
daughter of Jane Balmer
and the late Arlin Balmer.
She is a 1979 graduate of
Donegal High School. She
was a member of the
Booster Club, Dramatics
Club and band at DHS.
She is now the vice
president of Florin Church
of the Brethren’s youth
group.
Belle lives on a 175-acre
dairy heffer and poultry
farm.

ite Board of Missions to
continue their studies in
language and culture in
Yugoslavia.

Joy will play the character of
Zorah in the Lebanon Valley
Summer Theater’s produc-
tion of Ruddygore, or The
Witch’s Curse. This Gilbert
and Sullivan musical will be

Jr., the son of Mr. anu Mrs.
Kenneth Stoutzenberger,
Sr., of S57 W. Market St.,
Marietta, has enlisted in the
Navy’s Delayed Entry Pro-
gram.
He enlisted in the Seaman
Airmen Program, and is
scheduled to leave for
training in Great Lakes, Ill.,
on September 4th.
