AT AT ee Ly a The Donegal School Board OKed $10,000 of roof repairs for the DHS gym at their last meeting. The work will be done by J.M. Young & Sons, Inc. Work is also needed at Riverview School. A bid for $2,950 worth of work on the heating and cooling system there was awarded to the Powers Co. It was announced that next year's Pennsylvania School Subsidy will be $128,805. The budget was reopened in order to get this money into it. The board gave the long- asked-for computer system purchase the go-ahead. The new DHS computers will cost $4000 or $5000. Attendance officers were given a raise of $150. They now make $1,950. The hourly rate for district intramural coaches was raised from $3.00 and hour to $3.75. New entertainment Dutch Wonderland A wide variety of enter- tainment has been booked for Dutch Wonderland, family entertainment center four miles east of Lancaster on Rte. 30. Musical attractions will be the Frankie Widder Band on Sunday, July 29; the Young Entertainers on Saturday, August 4; the Knights, a German band from Harrisburg, on Sunday August 12th; the Kayos, a modified rock ,band, on Saturday, August 25th; and Nick Hubb’s International Polka Band and German dancers on Sunday, Sep- } tember 2. Policies will cost $8 for school time coverage and $25 for 24-hour coverage. Mrs. Cheryl Billow was hired under a temporary contract as a 6th grade teacher at Grandview. The resignation of Mrs. Patricia Bateman, Maytown School teacher, was accept- ed. The sabatical returns of Warren Rupp and Jane Prowell were approved.
