Zuch Mrs. Lucy Thompson Zuch, 90, 200 E. Market St., Marietta, died at Columbia Hospital after an illness of two months. She was the wife of Harry A. Zuch, who died in 1977. Born in Marietta, and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Louisa Lartz Thompson. A life member of Zion Lutheran Church, Marietta, and the Lutheran Church Women, she was also a member and past worthy matron of the Donegal chapter of the OES, Marietta Post 422, Marietta Senior Citizens, and the Columbia Hospital Auxil- iary. She is survived by three sons, Frank T., San Fernando, Cal.; the Rev. Robert T., Claysburg, Blair Co.; and Charles T., Clearwater, Fla.; 12 grand- children, and three great- grandchildren. Mrs. David Richwine Mrs. Ruth E. Richwine, 73, 166 W. Market St., Marietta, died at St. Joseph Hospital after an illness of three months. She was the wife of David L. Richwine, and the couple had observed their 54th wedding anniversary on June 22. A member of English United Presbyterian Church of Marietta. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens of Columbia. Born in Marietta, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Elizabeth R. Hartig McKain. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Gerald S. Richwine, Lan- caster; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren. Amos H. Shoemaker Amos H. Shoemaker, 87, Bainbridge R1 died at St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. The son of the late Henry and Hattie Hauk Shoemaker of Conoy Twp., he was the husband of the late Bessie Kendig Shoemaker, who died in November 1968. He was a retired employee of Klein’s Choco- late Co., Elizabethtown, and a member of the Steven’s Hill Church of the Brethren, Bainbridge. He is survived by four sons and two daughters: Chester K., Bradenton, Fla.; Mervin K., Elizabeth- town; Maurice M., Sierra Madre, Calif.; Wilbur K., Lancaster; Olive M., wife of John Keener, Mount Joy; Arlene, wife of Norman Givens, Andover, N.Y.; 23 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Lester K. Fogie Lester K. Fogie, 65, of 431 S. Market Ave., Mount Joy, died at home after a long illness. The husband of Kathryn Derr Fogie, he was born in Newtown, Rapho Township. He was the son of the late William K. and Clara Kaylor Fogie. : A lifetime resident o Lancaster Co., he was employed as a moulder with the Donegal Springs Foun- dary at the time of his death. He was formerly a moulder at the Florin Foundary, Mt. Joy. He worked as a moulder for 48 years. He was the owner and operator of Fogie’s Cafe in Marietta for the past 25° years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Columbia Lodge; the Mari- etta Beneficial Association; the Susquehanna Beneficial Association, Marietta; the American Legion Post 329, Elizabethtown, and the Mountville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. A veteran of World War II, he served as a mess sergeant in the east Mediterranean theater as a member of the 131st General Hospital unit. He served for four years, spending one year in Europe. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers and three sisters: Victor K. Fogie, Berlin, N.J.; Adam K. Fogie, Elizabethtown R4; . Martha K., wife of William Smith, Philadelphia; Mrs. Alice K. Schoelkoph, of Columbia, and Mrs. Frances K. Garner, Lancaster. Mrs. George Weber Mrs. Ida Shiflet Weber, 6S, 1 S. Market St., Mount Joy, died at Lancaster General Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Lancaster and the daughter of the late Noah and Elsie Hershock Shiflet. George Weber, her husband, died in 1968S. : A resident of Mount Joy for 44 years, she formerly lived in Dillerville. She was employed at the Market Basket in Elizabethtown for 15 years. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Congre-: gational Church, Mount Joy, and its Sunday School. Surviving are four sons: George J., East Petersburg; Myron, Mount Joy; Joseph A., Elizabethtown; and Kenneth E., Wilmington, Del.; a daughter, Shirley M., wife of John L. Martin, Hopewell, Va.; 18 grand~ - children and seven great- grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers: William Shiflet, Peach Bottom; Noah Shiflet, Chesapeake City, Md.; Elmer Shiflet, York; and, Robert Shiflet, Brandon, Fla.; Five sisters: Mrs. Ruth MacPherson, Mrs. Betty Burke, Pearl Shiflet, Lan- caster; Marian, wife of Theodore Moehler of Rran- don, Fla.; Marie, + of John Shrum, Mount Juy.
