Wrightstone to serve at
Mount Joy E.C. Church
The Reverend Philip M.
Wrightstone has been
appointed to serve the con-
gregation of the Mount Joy
Evangelical Congregational
Church.
Rev. Wrightstone is a
native of Lancaster. He has
returned to Lancaster
County after serving in
other places for the past
nine years.
He worked with the
Christian Service Corps
from 1970-72 in Washington
DC, managing their print
shop. There he met his wife,
the former Carlisle Gober.
They were married in 1971.
In 1972 he went to
Wesleyan College. He
graduated in 1978, and is
now completing his semin-
ary education at the School
of Theology in Myerstown.
In 1974 Rev. Wrightstone
was licensed as a pastor in
the church and was assigned
to serve in the Grace E.C.
Church in Wisonisco, PA.
He was ordained as an
itinerant deacon at the
annual conference held in
Bethlehem Emmanuel E.C.
Church in 1976. He
remained at Wisonisco for
five years, after which he
was transferred to the
Trinity E.C. Church, Mount
Joy.
The Wrightstones have a
daughter, Joy Michele,
aged 14 months.

Reverend Elizabeth W.
Iseminger, has been ap-
pointed Pastor of
Marietta and Bainbridge
United Methodist Churches.
Reverend Iseminger is the
wife of the Reverend Jon P.
Iseminger, who is a
consultant - photographer
with United Church Direc-
tories. The couple has three
children, Bill, Tim and
Michelle.
Rev. Iseminger is a native
of Yonkers, New York,
whose interests include
original crewel design,
sewing, murder mysteries
and collectibles from 1890-
1910.

Elizabeth earned her B.
A. degree from American
University, Washington,
D.C. in Religious Education
and her Master of Divinity
from Eastern Baptist Theo-
logical Seminary, Philadel-
phia in 1977. She served
churches in -Lumberville,
and Shamokin prior to
coming to Marietta.
A reception was held after
the worship service in the
Marietta Methodist Church
on July 1. All members and
friends were invited to
attend to welcome and
extend greetings to the new
pastor and her family.
Their son, William Rus-
sell Iseminger (Bill) finished
9th grade and his extra
curricular activities included
a paper route, looking for a
summer job, weight lifting,
youth activities, swimming
and bike riding. He is fifteen
years of age.
Their son, Timothy Ed-
ward (Tim) age 13, has
completed 7th grade and is
interested in bicycling,
basketball, reading, talking
with friends and a paper
route.
Their daughter, Michelle
Beth has finished Sth grade
and is interested in
skateboarding, fishing, gar-
dening, Girl Scouts, camp-
ing and bike riding.
