A good place to look for eggs. About 75 kids like this
one turned out for the Marietta Jaycees’ Easter Egg Hunt
last Saturday, and they looked all over Memorial Park for
hollow plastic eggs containing anything from a piece of
candy to a five dollar bill.
According to Jaycee president Harvey Reem, there
were a total of 22 dozen eggs hidden around the park.
Reem and Harvey Wagner had arrived early in the
morning and hidden them.
“The kids really enjoyed it,’ noted Reem. Reem
helped our photographer find an egg [by pointing to it]. It
was purple and contained a quarter.

If you’re planning to build
an electrically-heated home,
the time to make it energy efficient
is while it’s under construction.
PP&L, in cooperation with area builders, established an Energy
Efficient Home Program to identify homes that meet certain standards
for insulation and sheathing, windows and doors, ventilation, heating
and cooling, air duct systems, water heating and fireplaces (if one is in-
stalled). When your home's completed, PP&L will inspect it to see if it
qualifies for our Energy Efficient Home Award. A certificate is then
completed by the builder and presented to you certifying that the stan-
dards have been met.
If your builder isn’t familiar with the building requirements for an
energy efficient home, call PP&L. One of our residential consultants will
give you materials and equipment specifications along with builder in-
formation.

Energy Watch Member-
ship. NEW is a nationwide
effort by utilities to
recognize homes meeting
energy saving standards.
