What is it?? TYSC!! What is it? YTSC stands for Youth Traffic Safety Council, which is sponsored by the Governor of Pennsylvania. On the second Wednesday of each month during the year, representatives from each school in the Lancas- ter/Lebabnon Intermediate Unit 13 meet at the Brownstown Vo-Tech. The purpose of these meetings is to promote highway safety and obedi- ance to traffic laws. The council representatives dis- cuss and plan ideas and projects to carry out this purpose. Some of the past projects awarded safe driving certi- December 20, 1978 ficates to high schoo] students and performed minor inspections. The Rev. David E. Klepper, Jr., pastor, will preach a children’s sermon in which the children of the congregation will partici- pate as members of the story of the First Christ- mas. Service music includes “*Church Prelude: ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ and “Choral Prelude:: ‘O Holy Night’ *’ both arranged .by Dr. Woskowiak. The offertory ‘‘God’s Greatest Creation, the Christmas Miracle’” is an organ composition written and dedicated to the congrega- tion of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy by LeonaFrances Woskowiak. The offertory Greatest Creation, the Christmas Miracle’’ and the postlude ‘‘Meditation of Silent Night’ both by Dr. Woskowiak. The Senior Choir will present ‘‘Christmas Day” by Gustav Holst; ‘‘Lul- laby’’ by John Ness Beck and ‘‘Peace, Peace’’ by R. and S. Powell. This service concludes with the candlelighting service during which the congregation sings ‘‘Silent Night’ and the choir sings “Peace, Peace.’’ - At the end, all candles are extin- guished except those used by the choir, who proceed to the back of the church during the last verse of ‘‘Silent Night.” The choir ends the service with a short Choral Benediction.
