WPDC Radio will be on hand to interview Santa and his helpers. Santa will be in his hut: every weekend until De- cember 23rd. Kids who want to mail letters to Santa can drop them in the boxes in Hostetter’s Hardware on East Main Street, and in Western Auto on West drawing by Sabrina Herr Main Street. Parents are asked to include a self addressed, stamped en- velope with the child’s letter for replies to be returned. Here are Santa’s hours: Dec. 2—10:00 to noon, 1:00 4:00 Dec. 8—6:30 to 9:30 Dec. 9—10:00 to 12:00, and 1:00 to 3:00 Dec. 16—6:30 to 9:00 Dec. 17—10:00 to noon, 1:00 to 3:00 Dec. 21—6:30 to 9:00 Dec. 22—6:30 to 9:00 Dec. 23—10:00 to noon Santa’s balloon trip and visit to Mount Joy is spon- sored by the Mount Joy Jaycees and these merchants: First Federal Savings & Loan Hostetter’s Hardware Martin's Five and Ten Merchant’s Association Murphy’s Pensupreme Tastee Freeze Everyone is invited to come to Seiler School on this Saturday, at 10:00, to help welcome Santa to Mount Joy. How to win a turkey Santa will be coming to Mount Joy this Saturday by hot air balloon—but that’s not all that’s going down in Mount Joy! Mount Joy Merchants Association people are also giving away Christmas turkeys. You can fill out a registra- tion form and get yourself a chance at the turkeys; one from each store. The drawing will be on Decem- ber 20th. There's more. The mer- chants are organizing Christmas caroling during the two weeks preceding Xmas. Carolers will stroll about the downtown area, and then quench their dry throats with refreshments served at Rutt’s Appliance. The parking meters will be bagged starting on Monday, December 11th, and will stay bagged right up through December 23rd. Take advantage of this Old Fashion Christmas. Joycee-ettes plan breakfast with Santa Kids of all ages will get a chance to meet Santa Claus, in person, on Satur- day, December 16th, at Hostetter’s Hardware. Santa will be there from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Everyone can sing carols along with Mr. Kringle, and share the bacon & eggs, donuts, juice, and coffee or tea. To top off the morning, every child will receive a gift. Breakfast With Santa is sponsored by the Mount Joy Joycee-ettes.
