Rotary hosts farmers
McGrath is speaker

Dan McGrath, liaison

about the economic prob-

than their incomes.
The Carter administra-
tion, McGrath said, is
trying to help by stimulat-
ing exports.
During the question and
answer period, he answer-
ed questions on energy,
red tape, and other
matters.
Abe Groff introduced the
speaker. He also arranged
the program (he is the
rural-urban chairman of the
Rotary).
President Lester Eshel-
man was in charge of the

most interesting slide pre-
sentation of the ‘‘Mile-

featured the tollhouses of -
the past and present and
the many milestones that
are still standing along the
highways of the county, for
the most part unnoticed by
the general public.
It was announced that
the Society will sponsor a
Chicken Barbecue on Sat-
urday, November 4th, for
the benefit of the Building
Fund. Tickets are available
from any member or at the
scene of the Barbecue at

Pool.
