Pony cart parade
The Red Rose Horse and
Pony Club held a pony ride
last Sunday afternoon in
the Donegal area. The ride
started at 2 p.m. from the
home of Joseph Russell,
Jr., Old Harrisburg Pike
between Rheems and the
underpass. It proceeded
down Colebrook Road to
Donegal Springs Road, past
Donegal Church, then
down Endslow Road past
the airport to Maytown.
The pony-drawn buggies
circled the square in
Maytown, then pulled into
the Maytown Fire Company
grounds, where the ponies
took a rest, and their
drivers had refreshments.
