OK relatives visit Mrs. Frank
Mrs. Jack Frank, of 100
So. River Street, Maytown,
was visited last week by
her cousin and an Indian
from Oklahoma—her
cousin’s adopted daughter.
Gayle (Mrs. Morris)
O‘Hern, formerly of Bain-
bridge, and her 12-year-old
daughter Jill came through
Maytown on Mrs. O‘Hern’s
first trip back East in 16
years. Mrs. O‘Hern got to
visit many relatives, and
Jill got to see Chocolate
World and row houses in
Lancaster, which amazed
her. Jill also sampled shoo

Volleyball League will hold
its last meeting for any old
or new teams wishing to
fly pie, but she found that
she prefers pumpkin pie.
Jill, a member of the
Pueblo tribe, was adopted
at the age of 2 months. She
has a brother, also adopt-
ed, who is white. His name
is John, and he is 17.
Jill was also impressed
by Park City, the large
trees that grow here, and
the Amish, whom she
thought ‘‘neat.””
Before this trip, Jill had
never been on a bus, train,
or airplane (she liked the
airplane best). She is more

The O‘Herns live on a 488
acre ranch, and own sever-
al horses. They raise cattle,
sovbeans, wheat and hogs.
The farm, Mr. O‘Hern’s
family spread, is located
near Mounds, OK. Mrs.
O‘Hern (her first name is
Gayle) met her husband,
who is % Indian, in
California, when he was in
the Navy.
Mr. O‘Hern is a member
of the Uaychie (pronounced
‘‘you-chee’’) tribe.

seminar at Capitol Campus
A two-day seminar en-
titled, ‘Small Computers
for Small Businesses,’’ will
be conducted on Monday
and Tuesday, October 23rd
. and, 24th beginning at, ,
8:30AM each day.
