Woodworking course for adults
An adult education class
in woodworking will be
held at Donegal High
School starting soon.
The class, taught by
shop teacher Barry Mc-
Farland, will start on
September 21 and meet on
Thursdays between 7:00
and 9:00 PM. It will
continue till December 14.
Called ‘‘Introduction to
Sidewalk sale
The children of Zion
United Church of Christ in
Marietta are planning a
sidewalk sale, Sept. 15 and
16 at the church. On
Friday, the sale will run
Obituaries
ARTHUR ZUCH
Arthur T. Zuch, 71, died
unexpectedly at his home
at 118 West Walnut Street,
Marietta, last Saturday.
He was a retired milk
distributor for Penn
Dairies.
He was the husband of
the late Emily Blotten-
berger Zuch, who died in
May 1964.
Zuch was a life member
of the Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Mari-
etta, where he was a
“Sunday School superintend-
ent, teacher, and member
of the church council. He
‘was past president of the
Marietta Lions Club.
Born in Marietta, he was
a son of the late George F.
and Annie Koehler Zuch.
He lived in Marietta all his
life.
He is survived by three
children: James S. Zuch,
Mount Joy: Sally, the wife
of Ronald L. Wagner,
Mount Joy; and Susan A.
Zuch, at home. He is also
survived by four grandchil-
dren, and three brothers:
Lester, Marietta; Paul, Cit--
rus Heights, CA; and Karl,
Winter Haven, FL; and a
sister, Mrs. Effie Kise,
Columbia.
MARY COLVIN
Mrs. Mary Eva Ohrn
Colvin, 87, of 35 E. Main
Street, Mount Joy, died
last Friday at the Heather-
bank Nursing Home in
Columbia.
She was the widow of
Lynn Colvin, who died in
1972. Born in Columbus,
PA, she was the daughter
of the late John and Lena
Johnson Ohrn. She was a
member of the first United
Methodist Church of
Media, PA, where she
formerly lived.
Surviving her are two
daughters: Marilyn, wife of
Edward Bull, Fairfax, VA;
Elaine, wife of Bernard
LeVeque, Flint, Michigan;
and two sons: William,
Greenridge, PA; and
Roger, minister of the
Glossbrenner U.M. Church
in Mount Joy, with whom
she had resided since last
March.
She is also survived by
14 grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren, and two
sisters: Ida Ohrn of Mead-
ville, PA, and Julia, wife of
George Nagel, Corry, PA.

George Herchelroath, 61,
of Veterans’ Hospital, Leb-

Marietta, died last Satur-
day at the hospital.

Art studio opens
Classes began this week
at the Phillips Art Studio,
Apple Alley, behind the
Schock Home in Mount
Joy. Beginning art students
attend on Monday after-
noons, intermediate stu-
dents on Tuesdays, and
advanced on Wednesdays.
Mrs. Sue Phillips is
opening a class for adults
which will meet on Satur-
day mornings from 9:30 to
11:30 a.m. People interest-,
ed in attending the adult
