The bride is the daughter

John S. Hiestand and Rev.
Jerry M. Batts (fathers of
the bride and groom)

The bride is the daughter
of the Rev. and Mrs. John
S. Hiestand of Maytown.
She is a graduate of

Southeastern Bible College,
Birmingham, Alabama. She
is employed by Dr. James
B. Collier, Birmingham.
The bridegroom is the

Jerry M. Batts, of Nash-
ville, Tennessee. He is a
graduate of Robert E. Lee
High School in Montgom-
ery, Alabama, and is
