The Mount Joy swim
team attended Conestoga
Valley’s Fifth Annual Invi-
tational Time Standard
Meet on Saturday, July 1,
1978.
Medals for individual
events were given for first
through third place, and
ribbons for fourth through
sixth place. Twelve teams
competed in this year’s
event.
Winners from the Mount
Joy Swim Team were:
Joycee-ettes
wind up year
The Mount Joy Joycee-
ettes ended their year with
a delicious covered dish
social held at the home of
LaVon Harnish. Guests for
the social included Jackie
Thomas and Bonnie Hess.
Nancy Nestleroth re-
ported that the 75 plus
banquet was enjoyed by all
who attended. The Mem-
orial Day chicken bar-b-q
and the bake sale were big
successes.
